Mr. Ojima with yellowtail
Kudos to our friend Ash for his catch of a yellowtail 45 lbs on a Sabiki hook. Not sure if that could be considered for a record or he can land a sponsor deal (photo below). The point is that when you are at Cedros you are exposed to the will of the Baja Magic…. where unexpected is the norm.
In this same group who fished with us August 18-22, our guest Jordan got a great 25 lbs yellowtail on his 12 wt fly rod, as part of the group of anglers from Fishermen’s Spot of Van Nuys. He wrote: Jose, Awesome time, thanks to everyone, probably the best fishing trip I have been on, great lodge, great people, great captains and great pangas, great food, great staff, etc…
